Leica releases a limited special edition of it’s classic CL camera to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Germany’s Bauhaus school of art and design. The camera is bundled with a matching silver Elmarit-TL 18mm F2.8 ASPH. lens. The only details that differentiate the anniversary camera are the emossed “bauhaus” logos on the front of the camera and the leather strap and the black Leica logo instead of the usual red one.
The special edition does not differentiate from the regular CL in any way technically. Only 150 numbered anniversary CL sets are going to be made. Retail price is reported at $3750 and the set can be preordered only through official Leica stores.
